Job Description

Skillwork is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment issues, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating equipment and replacing worn parts.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical components, including shafts, bearings, gear boxes, pumps, motors, drives, and 3-phase power.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints and schematics.
  • Fully computer literate.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Automation and controls troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
  • Educationally certified through a tech/trade school beyond high school.
