Job Summary:

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing and commissioning Mid-Energy Portals (MEP) and Low Energy Portals (LEP) systems, as well as performing technical support on various industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission MEP and LEP systems
  • Perform technical support on industrial equipment
  • Isolate equipment start-up malfunctions and take corrective actions
  • Work on equipment with little or no documentation or training
  • Meet weekly project installation goals within required deadlines
  • Support Engineering activities during Factory Acceptance testing
  • Ensure tools and test equipment are properly maintained and calibrated
  • Work with team members to achieve success during installations
  • Maintain clear and concise business communication proficiency
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to eliminate problems in minimum time
  • Perform ad-hoc and predetermined work assignments with instructions
  • Maintain effective customer communications and relations
  • Multi-task, work accurately and with attention to detail in a Field Service environment
  • Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, system manuals, and technical directives for troubleshooting purposes
