Job Overview

Villa of Hope is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our residential treatment team, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and supportive environment for youth to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group supervision to ensure the physical and emotional needs of youth are met.
  • Implement Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) techniques to prevent and manage crisis situations.
  • Develop and maintain nurturing relationships with youth to promote healthy growth and development.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to create and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide transportation to home visits, community activities, and medical appointments as needed.

Requirements:

  • H.S Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Previous experience working with adolescents preferred.
  • Valid NYS Driver's license in good standing.
  • CPR certification required.
