Job Summary

The Department of FISCal is seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Specialist I to join our team as a Data Analyst/Reports Developer in the Business Intelligence Services Section. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing and understanding data models, analyzing data, and developing reports to meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, operate, and maintain software systems to support business intelligence and data analysis
  • Analyze data and develop reports to meet the needs of stakeholders and business units
  • Work closely with business stakeholders and other divisions to design and develop reports using SQL and other technical tools
  • Develop and maintain software systems to support business intelligence and data analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, data analysis, or business intelligence
  • Strong understanding of data models, data analysis, and reporting
  • Experience with SQL, programming languages, and software development methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Working Conditions

This is a remote-centered position with the flexibility of telework for three or more days per week. In-office attendance is mandatory on designated days. The incumbent should be available to travel as needed and is expected to perform functions and duties under the guidance of the Department of FISCal's core values.
