The Garage Mechanic - Fleet Specialist is responsible for maintaining the company's vehicle fleet in a safe and reliable condition. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail to ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and repaired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs: Conduct regular inspections and perform necessary repairs on company vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Operate tow truck and service truck: Safely operate tow trucks and service trucks to respond to guest service calls and perform repairs.
  • Provide exceptional guest service: Interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner, providing assistance and answering questions as needed.
  • Perform automotive and light truck service work: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on company vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment: Work in a dynamic environment, responding to guest service calls and performing repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Meet safety and quality standards: Follow all company safety rules and policies, and ensure that all work is performed to the highest quality standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Driver's license: Must have a valid driver's license.
  • ASE certification: ASE certification in auto repair is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team environment: Must be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicating with colleagues and supervisors as needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: Must be able to work in a dynamic environment, responding to guest service calls and performing repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
