Job Title: Nurturing Teacher for Young Learners

Ethos Early Learning Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurturing Teacher for Young Learners to join our team in a part-time capacity. This role is focused on creating a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers to grow and thrive.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or be actively working toward earning a degree.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing daily schedules and lesson plans tailored to the needs of each child.
  • Building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized classroom that meets state licensing requirements.
  • Communicating effectively with families about their child's day and progress.
  • Ensuring smooth transitions for children and families during drop-off and pick-up times.
  • Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures.

Key Qualifications:

  • Massachusetts EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification is required.
  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or currently working toward one, is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed childcare setting.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, as required by state regulations.
  • Passionate about early childhood education and child development.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work either the opening shift (7:45 AM start) or the closing shift (until 6:00 PM).

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Part-time hours with required availability for opening or closing shifts.

Salary: $38,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
