We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at HarmonyCares, a leading provider of home-based primary care services. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care to adult patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive to scheduled home-based primary care patient visits with a Provider partner
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment
  • Check and record patient vitals
  • Thoroughly document patient symptoms and treatment plans into our EMR
  • Collect patient consent forms
  • Support the Provider partner with patient care needs
Requirements
  • Certificate of Completion from an accredited Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, EMT, or related medical education/training program
  • One year or more of experience serving as a Medical Assistant, Medical Technician, Clinical Assistant, or Phlebotomist
  • Proficiency and comfort in doing blood draws, wound care, irrigations, and checking patient vital signs
  • A valid driver's license, good driving record, proof of insurance, and reliable mode of transportation
  • CPR certification, or willingness to be CPR certified before the first day
  • Good computer skills to document in our EMR system
  • High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous direct patient care experience with an aging adult population
  • Previous experience documenting in a EMR
  • Medical Assistant, EMT, or Phlebotomist certification
