We are seeking a skilled Licensed Pharmacist to join our team at SpecialtyRx, a leading Long-Term Care pharmacy in New Jersey. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services to our clients.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, ensuring the right medication, dosage, and administration.
- Verify that dispensed medicines are accurately supplied and labeled.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members regarding medication-related queries.
- Supervise the preparation of medications.
- Active Pharmacist license with the NJ Board of Pharmacy is mandatory.
- Previous experience in Long-Term Care is preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Computer literacy and knowledge of Frameworks LTC system, PLUS.
Full-time hours: 4:00pm-Closing (Monday through Friday/rotating weekends) with a 2nd Shift Differential.
