Purpose: The Assistant Manager of Store Operations and Communication is tasked with orchestrating communication strategies for daily and weekly priorities, store initiatives, incentive programs, policies, productivity, and merchandising directives that align with our overarching retail business goals and enhance performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with retail leadership to organize and manage the field workload and planning schedules.
- Guide retail operations and cross-functional teams to prioritize projects and responsibilities, ensuring clarity and consistent execution among the intended audience.
- Contribute to weekly communication efforts, detailing processes, store initiatives, and actions.
- Design and implement recognition and contest strategies that resonate with our retail objectives and selling culture.
- Assist in the creation and formatting of seasonal materials, including print production tasks.
- Compile and disseminate store productivity reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Oversee the in-store experience for loyalty programs, including training materials, marketing signage, promotional offers, and store objectives.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for operational execution and best practices.
- Maintain and update store policy and procedure manuals as necessary.
- Manage field feedback, directing inquiries and responses to and from the field team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Adobe Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and conciseness.
- Excellent verbal communication abilities.
- Effective organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A high sense of urgency with a proven ability to work independently, prioritizing and managing multiple tasks and projects in a deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with others in a business context.
- Exceptional writing skills, with the capacity to translate complex ideas into engaging and easily digestible content.
- Writing and composition samples will be required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform essential job functions in accordance with ADA, FMLA, and other applicable standards.
- Consistent and timely attendance in line with ADA, FMLA, and company policies.
- Capability to remain stationary for extended periods.
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment for prolonged durations.
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, through various means.
- Ability to reach at or below shoulder level.
