Job Overview

CR&R Incorporated, a leading environmental recycling collection company, is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of one of our maintenance facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance and repair of our fleet of 1,000+ trucks, minimizing downtime and repair costs, and promoting a safe and orderly shop environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance Work Planning: Plan and monitor maintenance work assignments to ensure maintenance and repairs are completed efficiently, minimizing downtime and expense.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate parts inventories to expedite vehicle service and reduce overhead expense.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all maintenance policies and records are accurate and compliant with all regulations, including DOT and OSHA.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop maintenance team members to promote professional growth and improve shop performance.
  • Shop Operations: Maintain a safe and orderly shop environment, ensuring all equipment and tools are properly maintained and organized.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage administrative matters, including schedules, performance management, and absence requests.
Candidate Qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience managing a maintenance facility for a fleet of 100+ trucks and 20+ maintenance team members.
  • Thorough knowledge of safe working practices, DOT, OSHA, and other federal and state regulations.
  • Advanced knowledge of Diesel/CNG equipment drivetrain, electrical, hydraulic, and structural systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in managing maintenance shop budgets.
