Job Title: Construction Management Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Management Intern to join our team at Gannett Fleming. As a Construction Management Intern, you will assist in providing construction services for a wide variety of projects, working closely with experienced construction leaders and professionals to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support real client projects by participating in construction observation and/or inspection of construction activities.
  • Interface with the project team and task managers to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
  • Review and update submittal status reports to ensure timely and accurate project documentation.
  • Assist with preparing schedule reports to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Maintain project files/documentation, including logs, to ensure accurate and up-to-date project records.
  • Manage online project document control system to ensure secure and organized project documentation.
  • Attend project meetings and assist with keeping minutes to ensure accurate project records.
Requirements:
  • Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of personnel and management.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
