Job Overview

Position Summary

As a Lead Change Management Specialist, you will spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and ensuring seamless transitions during organizational changes. Your primary goal will be to facilitate quicker adaptation and improved proficiency among employees, ultimately driving value creation and maximizing return on investment.

This role emphasizes the human aspect of change, focusing on preparing, supporting, and equipping individuals to embrace modifications in business processes, systems, technology, job roles, and organizational structures. You will collaborate closely with project teams to weave change management practices into overarching project strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Change Management Framework
  • Implement structured change management methodologies, communication strategies, organizational readiness evaluations, and stakeholder analysis.
  • Develop a change management strategy that supports the adoption of necessary changes driven by various projects or initiatives.
  • Your main responsibility will be to formulate and execute change management strategies that enhance employee engagement and minimize resistance.
Change Management Initiatives
  • Design and/or oversee the creation of detailed change plans that promote user engagement while minimizing disruptions to business operations.
  • Play a pivotal role in ensuring that projects achieve their objectives within budget and on schedule by fostering employee engagement.
  • Oversee the implementation process to guarantee effective adoption and minimal disruption to regular business activities.
Change Impact Evaluation
  • Conduct assessments to analyze the impact of changes, evaluate readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend business strategies, pinpoint necessary transformational changes, and establish conditions to enhance organizational capabilities.
  • Lead stakeholder assessments and change impact evaluations.
  • Proactively address anticipated resistance and devise risk mitigation strategies.
Communication Management
  • Assist in the design, development, and management of communication strategies.
  • Oversee change management communications with stakeholders.
  • Ensure that change impacts are effectively communicated throughout the organization.
Training and Support
  • Act as a mentor for senior leaders and executives in their roles as change sponsors.
  • Facilitate the alignment of cross-functional teams at the project level to successfully develop and implement integrated change plans.
  • Provide direct support and coaching to frontline managers and supervisors as they guide their teams through transitions.
  • Assist project teams in incorporating change management activities into their project frameworks.
Reporting and Resource Management
  • Establish and track success metrics, monitor progress, and evaluate employee readiness.
  • Document and report issues as they arise.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for organizational development/change resources assigned to projects within your portfolio.
Qualifications:

Education:

A Bachelor's Degree in organization development, human performance technology, communications, or a related field is typically required.

Experience:
  • A minimum of 7 years of comprehensive change management experience, including at least 3 years managing large-scale, cross-functional change initiatives.
Skills and Competencies:

Proven experience in applying change management methodologies, including:
  • Business analysis and process design
  • User adoption strategies
  • Change impact and risk assessment/mitigation
  • Training and curriculum analysis, strategy, design, and development
  • Creation of training materials and standard operating procedures
- Demonstrated ability to foster stakeholder engagement and leadership alignment.

- Strong analytical skills with the capacity to synthesize information from diverse sources and communicate complex topics clearly to employees.

- Proficient in program and project management, with a track record of prioritizing and organizing multiple projects effectively.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop tailored communication and training plans for various employee audiences.

- Ability to collaborate across functions in a matrix environment and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.

- Willingness to travel as needed for business purposes.

Certifications:
  • Certification in Change Management from a recognized organization.
Experience:
  • Experience in planning and managing departmental budgets.
