Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Part Time Frame Shop team member to join our Michaels Stores team. As a key member of our framing team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, creating memorable framing solutions, and maintaining a safe and clean store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized customer service and build relationships with customers
  • Create custom framing solutions that meet customer needs and exceed expectations
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas
  • Operate cash register and execute cash handling to standards
  • Participate in truck unloading and stocking processes to ensure efficient and accurate inventory management
Requirements
  • Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills
  • Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter
  • Physical ability to move throughout the store, lift heavy boxes and frames, and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Retail experience
  • Experience selling products and/or services to customers
Work Environment

Our store is a public retail setting with a climate-controlled environment. Some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled, and some outdoor work may be required to retrieve shopping carts or unload trucks.
