Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Medicine Physician to join our team at Medicine for Business and Industry. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the health and safety of our clients in a fast-paced occupational medicine setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care to patients in our outpatient clinics, including acute injury care and treatment of occupational musculoskeletal injuries.
  • Conduct thorough medical evaluations, including history and physical exams, to determine the presence of pre-existing conditions and assess work-related injuries.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management, physical therapy, and return-to-work programs.
  • Communicate effectively with employers, employees, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • MD/DO degree and current state licensure in good standing.
  • Board certification in Occupational Medicine or related field.
  • FMCSA certification for DOT exams (certification expenses covered by MBI).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records systems and computer use.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
