We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Clinical Program Coordinator to join our team at the University of Miami. Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate assignments for the given program, ensuring effective implementation and evaluation.
- Train and develop staff to effectively perform their jobs, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Evaluate program effectiveness, analyze results, and recommend appropriate action to improve outcomes.
- Coordinate program activities with other departments and staff, ensuring optimum efficiency and collaboration.
- Act as a main point of contact for project funders, advisors, speakers, and participants, and recruit program participants, members, and volunteers.
- Oversee various personnel actions, including hiring, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, termination, employee time records, and other related activities.
- Develop cooperative relationships with patients and families by projecting a positive image and creating a professional atmosphere.
- Develop program communications and promotional literature for distribution, including newsletters, brochures, and flyers.
- Prepare and present periodic reports, financial statements, and records for management or outside agencies.
- Maintain required records and reports statistics for administrative, quality assurance, and safety and control purposes.
- Maintain patient confidentiality as well as the confidentiality of hospital business information.
- Oversee the maintenance of established supply levels in unit and supply rooms.
- Adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certification may be considered.
- Coordinate with providers and care team on patient treatment plans for specialty outpatient injection procedures.
- Contact patients and schedule specialized outpatient injection procedures for satellite clinics.
- Obtain authorization for specialty medications for outpatient injection procedures.
- Obtain quotes and order specialty medications and equipment from outside vendors.
- Maintain relationships with outside equipment and medication vendors.
- Maintain inventory of specialty medications and procedure equipment.
- Train clinical staff in outpatient injection procedures.
- Assist providers in procedure clinics.
- Patient education on injection procedures.
- Pay on invoices for specialty medications and equipment.
- Track spending and reimbursements on specialty medications.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
- Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with professional composure.
- Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
