Job Title: Hospital Housekeeper

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hospital Housekeeper to join our team at HHS. As a Hospital Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning procedures in assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting.
  • Restock supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Respond to Housekeeping pages and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the Environmental Services Director and Assistant Director to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the department Director.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. frequently.
  • Capable of standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift.
  • Capable of pushing and pulling a maid cart, linen cart, or various equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift.
  • Must be able to handle/interact with all chemicals used (i.e., bleach, wax, Virex, etc.).
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and other hours as needed per assigned area.
  • Must have communication skills in English.
