Position Overview:
We are seeking a personal injury litigation associate who will be responsible for managing cases from initiation to trial. Key responsibilities include:
- Negotiating settlements in both pre-litigation and litigation phases with insurance companies and opposing counsel;
- Litigating personal injury cases from the filing of complaints through discovery to resolution;
- Drafting and serving discovery requests;
- Conducting and defending depositions;
- Preparing legal documents and motions;
- Making court appearances;
- Engaging in legal research and writing;
- Providing excellent client service;
- Handling pre-trial motions and trial preparation;
- Reviewing cases for potential settlement;
- Drafting settlement proposals;
- Corresponding with insurance representatives and defense attorneys.
Qualifications:
- Active CA Bar License (Required)
- 1-3+ years of litigation experience (Preferred)
- Strong knowledge of personal injury law
