Job Summary

New England Life Care is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in Woburn, Massachusetts. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinical pharmacy services for patients receiving home infusion therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy and determine necessary medications and formulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess patient suitability for home infusion therapy and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Monitor patient progress, communicate with prescribing physicians, and provide education to patients and caregivers.
  • Act as a clinical resource for the healthcare team, providing expertise on medication use, interactions, and side effects.
  • Prepare and dispense medications according to NELC policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Registered Pharmacist with a valid license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctorate of Pharmacy degree.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Regulations and JCAHO accreditation process.
  • Experience in IV therapy and home infusion.
