Position Summary:
The primary role of this position is to oversee and facilitate training for employees in production and packaging operations. Responsibilities include providing guidance and support to team members, managing supplies and documentation, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Instruct new employees on job tasks and safety protocols.
  2. Monitor and report on employee progress to supervisors.
  3. Provide ongoing training for new hires and existing staff as needed.
  4. Ensure efficient production flow and address any operational issues.
  5. Conduct plant tours and assist with onboarding training sessions.
  6. Manage supply inventory and ensure proper materials are available.
  7. Support production line operators and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
  8. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
  9. Prepare work schedules and coordinate production timelines.
  10. Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs as necessary.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Strong commitment to safety and the ability to model safe work practices.
  • Ability to comprehend and execute tasks according to departmental standards.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
  • Proficient in reading instructions and communicating effectively in English; bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills and prior experience in a similar role are advantageous.
  • Good employment history and ability to adhere to all safety and operational protocols.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to guide and support team members.
