Key Responsibilities- Obtain and review work orders for materials, quantities, and instructions.
- Read routing carefully and report labor against the proper sequence.
- Seek clarification for unclear instructions from Lead Person or Supervisor.
- Request and use production assembly drawings as needed.
- Inspect parts for quality, including flanges with a.0015" feeler gauge.
- Check for defects like porosity, torn threads, bad paint, or missing features.
- Lubricate threaded areas as indicated.
- Remove nonconforming materials to designated areas.
- Communicate assembly problems to Lead Person or Supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness by clearing work area and returning tools and drawings.
- Use downtime constructively by filling bins, cleaning, and preparing for the next task.
