We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our team at Painters Supply & Equipment. As a Counter Sales Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling products to walk-in customers, and proactively calling preferred end-user customers.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Perform customer service activities, including receiving and entering of telephone orders, answering questions, and tracking order status and product shipments.
- Counter Sales: Perform counter sales serving in-store customers, mixing paint, and preparing customer orders for delivery/pick-up.
- Inventory Management: Reconcile inventory and stock merchandise in store.
- Sales Support: Provide sales support to outside sales team, maintaining customer records and files, including accurate account setup and pricing.
- Paint Orders: Prepare paint orders, including mixing, utilizing standard formulas and custom formulas.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain all areas and equipment as assigned, ensuring maintenance of mixing equipment as needed.
- Bilingual Skills: Bilingual (Spanish) skills required.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required.
- Experience: 1+ year(s) of Customer Service, Inside Sales, or Counter Sales preferred.
- Team Player: Team player with great customer service skills.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Adaptability: Tolerable to the smell of paint.
