Insight Global is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team in Immokalee, FL. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in strategic planning, allocation, and maintenance of animal movements on site. You will work closely with the Veterinarian, Behavior, and Breeding teams to identify problem cages and optimize use of housing space.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research on animal care regulations, policies, and guidelines to ensure compliance and implement new policies to improve laboratory animal research and education efforts.
- Develop and implement animal inventory management processes using current IAMs systems or other tools.
- Prepare reports and summaries on hospital animal numbers and other important data to identify causes of morbidity in the home cage environment.
- Collaborate with the Behavior and Veterinarian teams to identify problem cages and develop strategies to address them.
- Support the social housing of animals located indoors and drive the creation and implementation of animal inventory management processes.
- 1-3 years of experience in a data analytical role.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to read, interpret, and compile data to present back to leadership.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Self-starter with good independent work ethic.
- Proficient using MS Office and advanced Excel skills.
Bachelor's degree. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Must be able to read and write, and interpret documents including task descriptions, standard operating procedures, and other instructions. Spanish speaking is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits$50,000 - $60,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, and 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
