Position Overview
HPS is looking to recruit an Analyst or Associate to be part of the Credit Facility Management team based in New York.

This team is responsible for the daily oversight of credit facilities across the HPS platform, which includes:

  • Asset-backed facilities secured by HPS fund investments
  • Subscription facilities backed by capital commitments from HPS investors
  • Customized financing solutions

The ideal candidate should be exceptionally organized with a keen attention to detail, capable of meeting strict deadlines, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting. A strong desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring compliance with credit facility terms, including ongoing Borrowing Base compliance
  • Reviewing fund investments to optimize financing of underlying assets
  • Managing all credit facility compliance and reporting obligations
  • Overseeing the loan approval process with lenders
  • Monitoring financials of underlying obligors and maintaining communication with investment professionals to identify potential impacts on credit facilities
  • Managing relationships with Custodians and Trustees
  • Monitoring and managing liquidity at HPS funds
  • Handling audit requests related to credit facilities
  • Maintaining credit facility information in internal HPS systems

Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
  • 1-7 years of experience in the financial services industry
  • A solid understanding of credit facilities and/or CLOs
  • Knowledge of bank loans
  • Proficiency in Excel and Outlook

Work Schedule
This position offers a hybrid work schedule with a 4/1 split (Monday to Thursday in the office; Friday working from home).

Compensation
The base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $130,000, which may vary based on various factors including job function, experience, and geographic location. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
