Service Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Service Advisor to provide exceptional customer service and support to our clients at Northridge Toyota.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and Engage Customers: Welcome customers promptly and establish a rapport to understand their needs and concerns.
  • Vehicle Information and Symptom Reporting: Obtain accurate customer and vehicle information and clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer.
  • Maintenance Recommendations: Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage, and vehicle history.
  • Estimate Preparation: Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts.
  • Follow-up and Communication: Establish follow-up time, monitor progress, and update customers frequently.
  • Invoice Reconciliation: Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order.
  • Customer Explanation: Explain all completed work and charges to customers.

Requirements:

  • Customer Satisfaction: Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Experience: Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager, or service consultant.
  • Personality: Very energetic personality.
  • Long-term Career: A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization.
  • Integrity: Personal and professional integrity.
  • Computer Skills: Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs.

Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation range for this position is $4,000 to $18,000 per month, paid semi-monthly. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development and advancement.
