About the Role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Home Health Aide to join our NJ Hospice team. As a visiting position, reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate care to clients in their homes, assisting with activities of daily living, bathing, toileting, and nail care.
  • Assist with dressing and grooming, oral feeding, and medication assistance.
  • Perform range of motion exercises, ambulation assistance, and transfers using mechanical lifting devices.
  • Conduct vital sign checks, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
  • Assist with home management tasks, such as light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a recognized Home Health Aide training course and certification to work in NJ.
  • At least one year of experience as a Certified Home Health Aide.
  • Solid computer skills, with prior experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.
  • Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
  • Meet all state requirements for CHHAs.
