Senior Diesel Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Diesel Technician to join our team at Ryder System. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs and maintenance on our fleet of heavy-duty vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, brake and tire work
  • Diagnostics and repairs, including AC, electrical systems
  • Advanced skilled level repairs, including major engine repairs, diesel after treatment, and automotive fuel injection repairs
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Collaborate with other technicians to resolve complex issues
Requirements:
  • Four (4) years or more of relevant work experience
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred
  • Demonstrated advanced analytical and repair skills in vehicle maintenance
  • Basic computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc.
  • Ability to work shift work/weekends and on-call duty as required
