Job Summary

The Volunteer On-Site Coordinator will play a critical role in communicating with volunteers, homeowners, and construction staff on our worksites and at community events.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a welcoming presence for volunteers and homeowners on our worksites and at events.
  • Meet with site leadership daily to understand work focuses and communicate with volunteers.
  • Welcome and sign in volunteers, ensuring they understand the work for the day.
  • Support site safety protocols and engage with volunteers to ensure they have the information needed.
  • Moderate conflicts and provide mediation support when required.
  • Educate volunteers on Habitat for Humanity's mission, current projects, and other relevant information.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of collaborative work experience.
  • Proven communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility, open-mindedness, and ability to delegate tasks effectively.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) applicants may be eligible for additional compensation.

Benefits:
  • $22,100-$24,050 annually, DOE, plus $1k bilingual stipend.
  • Paid holidays, birthday holiday, bereavement leave, vacation, sick leave, flex spending, and Simple IRA retirement plan.
