Key Responsibilities:
  • Performance Improvement: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to advance evidence-based practices related to stroke management.
  • Stroke Management: Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and control clinical and administrative functions for Stroke Management services in accordance with hospital strategic plans.
  • Data Analysis: Complete stroke measures data abstraction for both DNV accreditation and State of NJ primary stroke certification.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Participate in hospital-wide initiatives in support of performance improvement, regulatory, and accreditation processes.
  • Investigation and Resolution: Investigate high-risk occurrences, develop plans of correction accordingly.
Requirements:
  • Education: BSN degree from an accredited school.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hospital setting.
  • Licensure: Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement.
  • Certifications: BLS from the American Heart Association, certification as required by law, stature, and/or regulation of area or specialization.
