Job Summary:

We're seeking a skilled Demand Planner to join our team. As a Demand Planner, you'll be responsible for forecasting demand for assigned categories and channels, driving yearly improvements in demand accuracy, and analyzing historical data, market trends, and promotions. You'll also coordinate new product introductions with brand, sales, and key retailers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forecast demand for assigned categories and channels
  • Drive yearly improvements in demand accuracy
  • Analyze historical data, market trends, and promotions
  • Coordinate new product introductions with brand, sales, and key retailers
  • Use and maintain current demand-planning systems
  • Assess the impact of market changes or significant variances in the forecast
  • Manage statistical forecast exceptions
  • Communicate forecast confidence to relevant functional groups
  • Prepare relevant reporting and presentations

Requirements:

  • BA/BS with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management, Category Management, Marketing, or related degree
  • 3 years Planning or Supply Chain experience
  • APICS or IBF certification desired
  • Consumer products industry and/or manufacturing support experience a plus
  • Experience with S&OP Process Improvement
