We're seeking a skilled Per Diem Patient Care Coordinator to support patient care delivery in various areas, including patient reception, scheduling, insurance verification, and payment processing. This role requires 20 hours per week with the ability to pick up 2 on-call shifts per month. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality care to our patients, and we're looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence and compassion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors and patients, upholding excellent customer service
  • Enter and update patient demographic and financial information
  • Obtain and verify patient applications and forms
  • Provide patients with financial responsibility information and collect patient liabilities
  • Work with partnering departments to ensure all aspects of the patient's encounter are completed
  • Provide wayfinding instructions and assist with hospital information
  • Coordinate patient admission needs, bed assignments, and tracking boards
  • Meet or exceed audit accuracy standards

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of customer service experience in an office setting or professional work environment
  • Beginner level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • 18 years of age or older
