About the Position

Bozzuto is a dynamic and growth-oriented organization seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our facilities operations team. Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $85,000 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and wellness benefits, paid time off, retirement planning, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager position include:

  • Developing and implementing maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize property performance
  • Coordinating and executing maintenance tasks, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair
  • Providing training and guidance to maintenance technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Managing vendor relationships and projects within budget parameters
  • Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a related field (e.g., construction management, facilities management) and 7+ years of experience in facilities and/or residential building maintenance
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience with a proven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing teams
  • Certifications in HVAC, EPA, and/or NAPE
  • Knowledge of risk management, OSHA, and MSDS
  • Advanced level of skill in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
  • Basic carpentry, drywall, and painting skills
  • Exposure to complex mechanical systems
  • A safety mindset and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance
