Job Overview:

The Electronics Equipment Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for cleaning, repairing, troubleshooting, moving, disassembling, reassembling, and preparing electronic gaming, amusement, and related equipment for field deployment or decommissioning. This work will be performed primarily in a climate-controlled warehouse under the direction of a warehouse manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Moving video gaming terminals, ticket redemption machines, automatic teller machines, amusement devices, and associated equipment between transport trucks, warehouse storage, and equipment preparation areas
  • Disassembling obsolete or damaged equipment, then testing and cleaning removed parts
  • Inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, cleaning, and performing repairs on electronic gaming devices, ticket redemption machines, automatic teller machines, amusement equipment, machine parts, and associated equipment
  • Installing and removing locks on video gaming terminals, ticket redemption machines, automatic teller machines, and amusement devices
  • Identifying and communicating inventory needs for equipment to ensure minimal downtime and quick turnaround of product
  • Observing all safety regulations and reporting unsafe conditions to management

Requirements:

  • 2 years of electronic technical training preferred
  • 2 years of slot technician/video gaming terminal, ATM, or amusement equipment experience, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems and equipment preferred
  • Must demonstrate an ability to understand basic electronic theory and mechanics
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and instruments
  • Able to obtain forklift certification and use non-powered dollies, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear
  • Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity, including use of a keyboard
  • Frequently required to lift/push weights up to 1100 pounds
  • Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl
