POSITION SUMMARY

As a Seasonal Merchandise Associate, you will play a vital role in facilitating the sale of officially licensed merchandise tailored to specific events. Your responsibilities will include warmly greeting and engaging customers, processing cash and credit transactions, assisting with merchandise stocking, and more.

We value retail and customer service experience, and while additional training will be provided before the event, we seek individuals with a proactive approach and a positive demeanor to help us create a top-notch customer experience for all visitors in our retail areas during events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create a welcoming and professional atmosphere for both team members and attendees.
  • Proactively greet and assist all customers entering the venue.
  • Adhere to Legends' standards and policies.
  • Efficiently and accurately complete sales transactions while following cash protection protocols; actively seek opportunities to enhance individual and venue performance.
  • Support your supervisor in maintaining a tidy, organized, and fully stocked location for all events.
  • Assist with merchandise stocking as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
  • Friendly, self-motivated individuals who enjoy engaging with people in a dynamic event environment.
  • Desire and determination to exceed guest expectations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing setting.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Capability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the venue for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 30 lbs regularly.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and balancing.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively during setup to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills with supervisors and guests.
  • Ability to foster and maintain strong working relationships with team members while upholding high performance standards.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Commitment to safe work practices, adherence to all safety policies and procedures, including Legends' COVID Preparedness Plan, and completion of required safety training.
  • Encourage team compliance with safety policies and report any unsafe conditions.
COMPENSATION

Temporary Associate - $19 per hour

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The physical demands of this role require the employee to sit, talk, hear, use hands for handling controls, and frequently reach with arms. The employee must be able to stand, walk, and stoop. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
