Job Summary
The Medical Assistant Float Specialist is an integral part of our ambulatory care team, providing exceptional patient care and support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Medical Assistant Float Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, providers, and staff members, utilizing your clinical skills and customer service expertise to deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform safe clinical skills within the scope of practice of the CMA, including clinical duties in the management of ambulatory patients
- Work collaboratively with licensed healthcare practitioners to provide excellent patient care and support
- Utilize knowledge and skills to integrate available standards, resources, and data to improve patient outcomes
- Assist with front office duties as needed, applying discretion, good judgment, and diplomacy to ensure excellent office and patient care management
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited program for Medical Assistants
- Successful completion of Medical Assistant program and certification with the State of Washington required
- Previous front desk experience preferred
- Current Washington state driver's license and proof of a safe driving record required
