About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a key member of our Geotechnical team, you will be responsible for providing engineering solutions and recommendations to support our clients' development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform technical geotechnical analyses and write reports
  • Coordinate field exploration and drilling operations
  • Collect and log soil samples from the field
  • Work with a field team performing foundation load testing for solar energy facilities
  • Test, analyze, evaluate, and perform calculations to evaluate the behavior of subsurface conditions relative to development
  • Prepare written reports with findings and geotechnical opinions, conclusions, and recommendations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, Mining, or a related engineering field
  • 0-2 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) license or on track to obtain
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD
