The estimated salary for this position is between $31.00 and $54.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team, working on our 1st shift, floating between various locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling patients, operating equipment, and performing diagnostic medical sonograms in accordance with established protocols.

This role requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to maintain high standards of patient care, adhering to policies and procedures set by the department, hospital, state, ACR, TJC, and OSHA.

Responsibilities
  1. Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images, assisting the radiologist in diagnosis.

  2. Schedule patients and prioritize requests for procedures to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care.

  3. Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to established protocols and procedures.

  4. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry developments and advancements.

Requirements
  • A High school diploma or equivalent is required, along with registration or eligibility with ARDMS.

  • CPR certification may be required, and continuing education credits must be maintained as per licensure requirements.

  • A Graduate AMA-approved ultrasound program, at least one year's experience as an ultrasound technologist, and an Associate's or Applied Science Degree in a related field are desirable.
