Job Summary:

Under the supervision of a licensed radiologist, performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis and treatment. Provides exceptional patient care and maintains a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operates and maintains imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines.
  • Positions patients for optimal image quality and ensures patient safety and comfort.
  • Reviews patient medical history and exam orders to ensure accurate and relevant imaging procedures.
  • Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintains accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient workflow.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in radiologic technology or related field.
  • Current certification as a radiologic technologist (RT) or equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with CT and MRI imaging procedures.
  • Knowledge of radiology information systems (RIS) and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS).
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide exceptional patient care.
