Position Overview
The Senior Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing data integration solutions from multiple sources into cloud-based environments. This role emphasizes the importance of data consistency, accuracy, and accessibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives in Business Intelligence reporting, crafting, developing, and executing sophisticated BI solutions.
- Create Business Intelligence dashboards and operational reports to support decision-making processes.
- Integrate data from diverse sources into cloud-based BI reporting frameworks.
- Utilize previous experiences to advise on Enterprise BI standards and best practices.
- Develop adaptors and APIs for various data sources.
- Design, construct, and deploy BI solutions; assess and enhance existing BI reports and dashboards.
- Build and validate new or updated data flows, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Assist Data Analysts and Business Stakeholders in identifying and resolving data-related issues as necessary.
- Guarantee data consistency, accuracy, and accessibility.
- Diagnose and rectify data integration challenges.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish data integration specifications.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience in data integration and ETL methodologies.
- Familiarity with data schema modeling, including dimensions, measures, and slowly changing dimensions.
- Over 8 years of hands-on experience as a Business Intelligence developer.
- At least 5 years of experience with reporting platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or MicroStrategy.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in data wrangling using R or Python for data processing.
- Proficient in data integration tools like Informatica, Data Stage, Talend, or Microsoft SSIS.
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Cloudera.
- Expertise in data modeling principles, including keys, logical structures, subject areas, and referential integrity.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision, under pressure, and tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related discipline.
Clearance Requirements
U.S. Citizenship with the capacity to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Compensation Overview
The salary range for this role is $105,600 - $132,000. This range is not a guarantee of compensation; actual salary will be determined based on experience, geographic location, and potential contractual obligations.
