Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring accurate and efficient dispensing of medications, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
• Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
• Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations and efficient workflow.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
• Prefer PTCB certification.
