Position Summary

We are looking for a part-time Senior Advisor for Intelligence Operations to support a diverse array of clients within the United States Intelligence Community (IC) and the Department of Defense (DoD). This role is pivotal in providing expert guidance and assistance across various intelligence initiatives and analytical challenges. The Senior Advisor will engage in targeted studies, research endeavors, strategic outreach, and respond to urgent analytical inquiries. Additionally, the individual will contribute to several phases of the business development process, including identifying opportunities, capturing leads, and participating in proposal efforts. Proficiency in standard office software applications is essential for developing practical and sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical and experiential insights across a broad spectrum of intelligence initiatives and analytical challenges.
  • Engage in targeted studies or research projects across multiple domains.
  • Advise on the development of strategic initiatives or plans; recommend actionable courses of action for implementation; prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Review and provide feedback on written products or assessments created by others; suggest edits, additional findings, or alternative solutions.
  • Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with government and contract mission partners within the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Assist in various aspects of the business development lifecycle, including opportunity identification, capture, and proposal activities.
  • Coordinate regular or ad-hoc meetings, working groups, or project teams; prepare meeting minutes, track project statuses, draft white papers/briefings, and present recommendations to decision-makers as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Eligibility to obtain Top Secret clearance with SCI adjudication.
  • Master's degree in international affairs, business administration, accounting, finance, engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, history, or related fields.
  • A seasoned intelligence professional with a minimum of 20 years of experience supporting all facets of the intelligence cycle in both air and space domains.
  • Thorough understanding of the mission, structure, and operations of the IC, DoD, services, and combatant commands.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior leaders within the Air Force, Space Force, Intelligence Community, and Department of Defense.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a responsible team player capable of working independently with minimal daily supervision.
  • Experience in managing resources (time, personnel, finances) to achieve assigned objectives.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.

Compensation

The typical compensation range for this position is between $100,000 and $170,000, depending on experience, location, and other relevant factors.
