Position Overview

As a **Hospice Aide** at St. Croix Hospice, you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate care to patients in need. This position requires a commitment to providing quality support under the supervision of a registered nurse, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care during their final stages of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing, while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Communicate respectfully and confidentially with patients and their families, fostering a supportive atmosphere.
  • Monitor and document vital signs accurately, assisting patients with self-administered medications as needed.
  • Prepare nutritious meals, assist with shopping, and provide feeding support to patients.
  • Evaluate and report any changes in patient conditions to the RN Case Manager.
  • Support patients with mobility, exercise, and therapy activities to enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications
