Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety and Quality Assurance: Ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications, and maintain a high level of quality assurance in all aspects of pharmacy operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of pharmacy technicians and support staff to achieve exceptional patient care and operational excellence.
  • Customer Service and Communication: Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Inventory Management and Financial Acumen: Manage pharmacy inventory and finances effectively, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree, and active pharmacy license in the state of employment.
  • Immunization Certification: Immunization certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
  • Background Check: No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience in a pharmacy setting, with a track record of achieving exceptional patient care and operational excellence.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with experience in inventory management, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
