The Opportunity

We are seeking a part-time Patient Service Representative to support our Pulmonology practice. This 20-hour per week position will involve scheduling appointments, checking in patients, collecting co-payments, and assisting with pre-visit paperwork. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, be able to multi-task, and thrive in a high-volume outpatient setting.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
  • Check in patients, collect co-payments, and assist with pre-visit paperwork
  • Field incoming telephone calls and route appropriately
  • Process referrals, diagnostic orders, and lab results
  • Provide general support to practice leadership, clinicians, and peers
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-4 years' experience in healthcare or customer service, preferably in a medical office setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Strong computer skills
