Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Sysco, a leading foodservice distribution company. As a Local Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver products to customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate a tractor-trailer to transport products to customers.
  • Load and unload products from the trailer, using a hand cart or other equipment as needed.
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures as required.
  • Communicate with customers and management to resolve any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to lift, push, or move products weighing up to 100 pounds, as needed.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of customer delivery experience.
  • 6 months of hand cart/hand truck experience.
  • 6 months of food and beverage experience.
  • 2 years of consistent work history.
