Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient team at the University of New Mexico. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care, lead clinical teams, and promote a positive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Assume relief charge duties and provide leadership to other staff members.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in New Mexico or eligibility for licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Nationally certified in area of specialty.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish language skills.
