We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient team at the University of New Mexico. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care, lead clinical teams, and promote a positive work environment.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Assume relief charge duties and provide leadership to other staff members.
- Current RN licensure in New Mexico or eligibility for licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Nationally certified in area of specialty.
- Bilingual English/Spanish language skills.
