Job Title: Sr. Data Center Engineer

U.S. Bank is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technology initiatives, you will be responsible for the daily operation of our facility engineering environment, including electrical and mechanical distribution, power generation, cooling, UPS, automated building controls, and Fire/Life/Safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily operations and maintenance of the data center facility, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all critical and non-critical plant operations.
  • Work with management to develop, recommend, and implement departmental policy, guidelines, standards, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all governing corporate standards and guidelines.
  • Ability to read and comprehend architectural, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical drawings.
  • Build and maintain effective communication and relationships with management team, vendors, and peers.
  • Develop and maintain interpersonal communication channels to convey information internally and externally.
  • Perform on-call and after-hours support functions as directed by departmental policy or management.
  • Work all required overtime.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least one year of experience with the electrical engineering, maintenance, environmental, health, safety, energy, controls/instrumentation, and HVAC needs of a facility or plant.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Working experience in IT environment, hardware infrastructure, computer facilities management, and computer operations.
Location Expectations:

The role requires working in the office 4 times a week and every other week 3 times.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.

In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, 401(k) contribution, and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).

Pay Range: $29.42 - $39.23 - $43.15
