About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronic Attack Analyst to join our Air Combat and Strike Mission Analysis team at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL). As an Electronic Attack Analyst, you will play a critical role in evaluating the impact of electronic attack on air combat missions, using advanced analysis tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work independently and as part of a small team to evaluate the impact of electronic attack on air combat missions.
  • Provide technical insight and innovation to support Department of Defense programs interested in electronic attack.
  • Regularly communicate with sponsors to provide context and influence decision-making.
  • Have opportunities to engage in independent research projects that encourage creative solutions and reward initiative.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Math, Computer Science, or Engineering, or a related area.
  • Demonstrated excellence in performing electronic attack analysis in a simulated environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative environment and communicate sophisticated ideas directly with government civilians, military officers, and other contractors.
  • Skilled in conducting quantitative analysis and rapidly learning new and exciting concepts.
  • Ability to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by start date and ultimately obtain Top Secret level clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's or PhD degree in Physics, Math, Computer Science, or Engineering, or a related area.
  • Experience using analysis tools like AFSIM, Brawler, Suppressor, JIMM, or EADSIM for conducting mission-level survivability and effectiveness analysis with electronic attack elements for combat aircraft and strike weapon systems.
  • Active Top-Secret security clearance.
