Team Overview and Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve production targets and make informed quality decisions during shifts.
  • Implement the operational plan for shifts by process area, prioritizing material movement and production needs.
  • Adjust staffing resources in response to current demands or changes.
  • Oversee the MRR queue.
  • Monitor, assess, and enhance individual operator performance.
  • Conduct and present end-of-shift turnover meetings.
  • Ensure all products comply with the Plant's Quality Management Systems.
  • Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and ISO14001 EMS guidelines.
  • Perform month-end inventory counts as necessary.
  • Act as a leader on the site spill team, head of the plant evacuation team, and first responder.
  • Guarantee all products meet the standards set by the Plant's Quality Management Systems.
Preferred Experience:
  • Management experience in the optical fiber cabling sector is advantageous.
  • Strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction, adaptable, and enjoys engaging with clients and visitors.
  • Proactive team player contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Exhibit strong administrative skills, effective time management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of management experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
