Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled PACU Registered Nurse to join our team at Presbyterian Rust Medical Center ASC. As a PACU nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement physician orders and provide continuity of care for patients
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Support physicians in procedure rooms with tasks such as conscious sedation and sterile technique
  • Provide patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in PACU or ICU
  • Current BLS and ALS certifications
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in supporting various specialties, including General Surgery, Dental, Gynecology, and more
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
