We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Specialist to join our team in Massachusetts.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in civil engineering and a strong interest in the inspection, design, and construction of rail, track, and culverts.
This is a hybrid position with a mix of field work across Massachusetts, office work with team members, and remote work.
Responsibilities- Participate in planning, design, and construction projects.
- Perform field inspections.
- Assist in developing technical design reports, calculations, and memos.
- Use AutoCAD to design rail alignments, drainage systems, grading, and other guideway elements.
- Develop construction documents, including technical drawings and specifications.
- Participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders and develop content for these meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Basic understanding of civil engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with civil design drafting software.
- Strong desire to work with and help clients, public stakeholders, and fellow team members.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Valid driver's license.
